[rs=2] | Daughter to Niall McCarthy and Suzette Portee. Half sister to --- McCarthy. Kiara is a friendly, intelligent, courageous and good-spirited person. Her fiery temper hid a deep well of compassion. She has shown herself to be a inquisitive and compassionate young woman, who was quick to adapt despite being thrown into strange events. The girl holds confidence in what she believes in, such as her friends. Rarely did she mention any grief she might've been suffering as a result of her great misfortunes. Kiara has a kind heart and cares for ones around her, she hates to see anything get hurt, really. She has a habit of keeping calm in times of despair, and only releasing how she really feels until she is alone. Kiara is also a very compassionate person, and hates to see someone in pain, or in trouble. she'll do all she can to help, and won't leave anyone behind, or overlook someone suffering or frightened. she's always willing to try something new, and takes it on with a laugh and a joke. It's true the girl can act like a ten year old, and yet be mature as can be while on the job. if she has her mind set on something, it's not going to move until she gets what she wants. spoiled, bratty? sort of, more like determined. no matter how long it take for her to get it done, she puts her all into the thing that she does, no matter what. because, really, what is the point of anything if you don't plan on doing it to your very best ability? Kiara is many things. She is prone to trouble, most often caused by herself, as she is to curious for her own good. She often wanders into things and needs help out. However, although she gets herself in trouble a lot, she has the quick wits to get herself out, or at least halfway out. She tends to dive in headfirst, not only into unknown situations, but also into relationships and friendships. She falls for someone easily, although will often get bored if there isn't a deep connection there. "My father is a fully fiery Irish man. My mother is a sweet half English half French woman. They met one rainy day at the hospital, mom was on a lunch break when a man ran into her, causing her to loose her balance and hit the ground. It was love at first site, or so they said. I was born in Montreal to a completely normal family, they were on a long vacation when my mother had me but as soon as I was born we went back home to Colorado. I lived most of my life here; my mother home schooled me basically the whole time while my father was off cheating, drinking, and gambling. Around 8 my parents divorced, it wasn't a big deal to me since my father wasn't very important in my life. He cared, but not as much as mom, she was my rock. I was sick and tired of him cheating on her and hurting her. They finally ended it and I couldn't have been happier for her, that is, until the summer after my 11th birthday when she announced she was marrying Sebastian- her best friend. This, obviously, wasn't great for dad and was all huffy because she found someone else. But I was happy for her." "Sebastian had come from a well-off family as well but unlike his siblings he wasn't power hungry. Despite that, we bonded by sitting on the couch with junk food watching hours of television. Together we created All You Can Eat Pancake Sundays, those days ended with us laying on the couch rubbing our tummies in satisfaction. We always had competitions to see who could eat the most in the shortest of time. My real father, on the other hand, kept remarrying to other women, each time he married younger and younger. I never got close to any of them, besides Mallory but that was only because she was the first and I never expected dad to cheat on her too." |
